Wanwarin Yensuk

Name: Wanwarin Yensuk
Location: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Role: Editor

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
I saw the inequalities that exist in the world, and I want to help. Everyone should receive the same rights and respects.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I want to help people who do not have the same access that I have had growing up, such as education and clean water. I want to help improve the lives of people.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I am very good at weight loss. In 2019, I lose 15kg, by myself. Now, I run mini-marathons (10KM) for charity. I also spend my time volunteering at local NGOs.

My Compassion/Humility List
I will do the following for any friends and family who donate in my honor.

  1. $50: I’ll share my weight loss tips
  2. $75: I will help you establish a dieting plan and guide you through your diet
  3. $100: I’ll run my first half marathon (21km)
